Aquilla/Windlass info required please

Postby wingnut » Wed Aug 13, 2008 1:34 pm

Hi guys,

I am busy registering my Windlass with Aquilla wing in Australia and I need a copy of the pilot operating manual ASAP. I never had one and obviously the guys over here are not familiar with the type so they want as much info as they can get. I'm afraid I don't want to wait for snail-mail so was hoping somebody could e-mail me a manual for an aquilla or a windlass (either will be fine), please? Solowings are also not responding to my e-mail yet and I just hope to get this over quickly...

I also need the Vne and the acceptable reading on the wing-sail test meter if anyone can help with that?

By the way - It's been almost a year since I packed my wing into a tube at Microland and today was the first time I opened it here in Brisbane and erected the wing. I started the engine for the first time on Saturday and it started reasonably easy on about the 12'th hand-starter pull and ran as usual. If everything goes well, I shall be in the air again by the end of the month!

Any help you guys can provide will really be appreciated!

Regards
Werner Fourie

How did you live with out the flying!
I guess its a bit sad to say goodbye to microland and ZS-WST and say hello to Brisbane and 32-5505
