Installed Facet pump this morning on my Buckeye DM with Rotax 582. Did serial installation. Running smooth and I also testflight this afternoon. All seems well.
Thank you everybody for input and advice.

Re: Backup fuel pump?
Just make sure that the pump is a free flow if pump is not switched on. If not, rather switch to paralel before you look a cow in the eyecjkrit wrote:Installed Facet pump this morning on my Buckeye DM with Rotax 582. Did serial installation. Re: Backup fuel pump?
Thanks for your kind warning. Yes its freeflow - Switched it of on ground and also at altitude and the diaphram pump simply carries on. No powerloss evident at all when I switch it off- shows that enough fuel goes through. Only use it for takeoff and landing and if doing lowflying. Whats also nice is that its fills the fuel lines after a few days standing very quickly and the starting is prompt.
Safe flying
