I see some of you guys refer to Windlass's.
There is a difference between the Aquilla and the Windlass!!!
The MTOW is lower on the Windlass.
I got the info from Aidan @ Solowings, He knows his oats!

Hi Cloud Warrior,Cloud Warrior wrote:Is the fuel load i.e 50 litres for an Aquilla, included in the payload of 200kg? If not then there is no way I can fly two up!
Fuel is not included in payload. Payload + Fuel = Useful load.
If your payload is 200kg, and you have 50 liters on board, your useful load depending on the Sg of the fuel would be about 240 kg. Be aware that there are very few aircraft where you can fill all the seats, and full tanks, and remain below max take off weight.
Your useful load is calculated by subracting the empty weight of your trike from the MAUW. From the useful load you subtract the fuel in your tank, then you know how much payload you can legally and safely carry.

Re: Aquilla MTOW
Herewith the mail I received from Solo Wings.
400kg is fine for my Windlass.
Seems that the info on the website does not allow for 50kg of fuel. Adding this to info as per website, Aquilla`s 503 & 582 are still not 450kg.Hi Carel
It seems our mail is not getting through to you. The MTOW on the WindLass is 400kg’s.

Lynne
