Banana vs T-pod

Postby Wargames » Tue Apr 15, 2008 9:22 am

Hi,

I'm looking at getting some instruments on my aerie. Would like some advice as to which instrument pod is the best. My options lies with the banana pod from aerotrike or t-pod from solowings(large or small).

Which do you prefer and why??

Thanks,

Hi Wargames,

I fly an Aquilla and have a pod similar to the banana pod type. Very happy with it as it gives more space for instruments than the T-pod type. There's a guy up here on the Highveld that has various moulds for the pods and makes them in any colour. PM me if you'd like me to get hold of his details.

I had a T-pod on my trike, and now a Banana pod. There is more space on the banana pod,and a place for your radio & intercom.
