What GPS ?

Folks,

Antenna problem solver - Vee Rabbit - that's It! Zulu1 thanks for making my radio transmissions audible for 300km's. Removes all issues with any GPS.

I have a Garmin GPSII+ and a Lowrance 600C. The Lowrance can be quite a fiddley piece of kit and I have found it to be tempramental. If I had my money again I would have gone for a GPS296 for sure! I actually prefer my old Garmin and it has served me well for nearly 10 years around the world!!!

I too agree with Zulu1 - the GPS is only used for Ground Speed to give wind component. I love following maps on the kneeboard.
