Hi Justin,
Excellent!!! Just some info from this link:

Advantages of electric propulsion:
The near silent motor and large, low RPM propeller provide quiet flying enjoyment. No earplugs!
Improved neighbor relations. Possible extra flying sites due to quiet operation.
No handling of smelly gasoline and oil. No soot or dirt.
Sturdy electric motor. No engine maintenance; no disassembly to clean out carbon, no top overhauls, no carburetor adjustments, no expensive major overhauls.
Dependable, no hassle starting, just turn the power dial.
Instant, sure, restart for soaring applications.
Just plug your charger into any 110 outlet to “refuel” our machine. Approx. $0.60 for a full charge. Easily and quickly removable battery packs.
Choose the battery capacity you need.
Small, high discharge rate pack for self launch glider.
Medium pack for light weight; good duration and soarability.
Large pack for longest duration. One to two hours without lift depending on the efficiency of the wing you use.
No vibration. Electric motor with well balanced, slow turning propeller provides vibration free flight.
The closest thing to a magic carpet ride ever attained. Enjoy!

Battery Packs
Custom built lithium-ion polymer for highest capacity per weight (power density) High discharge rate cells for full power takeoff and climb. Choose 2.6kwh to 5.6kwh capacity depending on your use.

Weights
Trike with motor, controller and gauges installed 85 lbs (39 kg)
Largest battery pack (5.6kwh) 78 lbs (35 kg)
Stratus wing 84 lbs (38 kg)
A true legal part 103 ultralight even with largest pack. 247 lbs (112 kg)

Now that's going back to grassroot aviation! I might even become a trike fan as those wings are SUPER efficient.

Thank you for the link,
Henni

That unit looks very simple and neat indeed.

I would hate to be dependant on Eskom for my ATF

Now we just put solar panels on our wings...wonder if a Gyro rotor could be used to generate power  like a Hybrid.
