Agreed, cleaning it with petrol is a big no no for reasons given.
I stand corrected... must admit I noticed no difference in power/ rpm.

Ma filter

Postby Reza » Tue May 15, 2007 11:59 am

I was told that the filters are exposed to petrol fumes/vapour anyway :?
When I was in Sa last I asked way too many questions concerning all the spares and consumables I needed and procedures to be followed for my trike, so that I could purchase it all down there and not get frustrated trying to find something like K&N filter oil in good old Malawi.
The cleaning filter story was a question I asked all the fundi's and when I say fundi's I mean the main oaks, people who fly and repair ratex's for a living , they arent all going to bullsh@t me on how to clean my filters
