Hey Guys

Its come time to make a decision, have been looking for a trike for a while and now have narrowed down to 3. I have spoken to many people in trying to make the best decision possible, especially as the 2nd hand trike market is so flat, I really do not want to be stuck with the wrong trike.

I am 95kgs flying from the coast (or close to it), but have the Cederberg mountains close by, and most cross countries will require getting over the mountains. Most of my flying will be an hour or so away from airfield to start with, but I plan to do cross countries here and there. Am in the Western Cape so wind picks up in the pm and get really thermic conditions here.

The frequent flyers flying from here are on 503s 2 x windlass and 1 x Aquila. Would like to be able to fly with them but also would like something that can be trimmed to fly faster when I want to do c/c as towns very far apart here (Vredendal Western cape half way between Springbok and Cape Town) I might be to demanding.

Keep in mind this is my first trike ( I have about 40 hrs all on “hired” trikes)

Please choose which you think is the best deal for the money and best alround use

Just one comment on the raptor... that is one big wing for the coast. And electric start is a very nice to have.
