For those members battling with rf feedback and poor battery life from these radios we have the latest available software to bring rf down over selected frequency sectors to 1 watt which is more than adequate. The standard non "e" series come from the factory at 3,5 watts and the e series 1,5 watts. With the software tweaks it does little to upset tx range but improves battery life considerably. We get over 4 hrs flying from one charge now.

The software also reduces the feedback prevalent on other makes of intercom systems and also allows use of the headset adaptor to GA headsets.
