I went to view a private vintage vehicle display today, on entering discovered a front end smashed Smart car, motor and management system still perfect. The aero engine version develops about 80hp. You would get the motor for about ZAR 25k. Three cylinder turbo. Take a look at ecofly on the web. Anybody interested send me a pm so I can advise location. A reasonable alternative power plant. Mileage looked low as the tyres were reasonable. Written off because of the airbags were deployed.
