taildragger mpl

Postby ~craig~ » Fri Jun 30, 2006 12:28 am

morning all,

not sure if this is the right place to ask - and this has probably been asked multiple times...sorry

have a touch of unemployment for the month of july and first week of august. would love to get a mpl for 3-axis taildragger. millions of years overdue!

could somebody point me in the right direction please. i am based in cape town and so looking for a school instructor in this part of the world.

also, need to get a radio license... heard that the air traffic controllers at cape town international offer a course but no-one has been able to give me a name of contact number. if any of you know about this, please let me know...

my thanks

Have a look at

http://microlighters.co.za/viewtopic.ph ... ght=#20570

I think that the only school in Cape Town area that offers training on a tail dragger is Aerosport at FAFK (Louis Van Wyk - 0219753891). Alan Austin has a tail dragger Hawk but I don't think they can use it for training yet. The radio licence is normally offered by the school as part of the course.
