Banner Towing

Postby Thunderboy » Thu Apr 20, 2006 12:39 pm

Just out of curiosity :?
Does anyone know anything about banner towing on microliights, I see it is done overseas and I remember seeing it done by cessnas a lot on the coast. In JHB only saw it once at the 95 Rugby World Cup (as well as the SAA 747 low fly over)

Is it legal for microlights in SA :?:
How does one release, pick up banner :?:
How big are they :?: etc, etc

The AIrborne trike is certified and designed to do banner and hang glider towing. I have done it with my airborne and it it quiet easy. Over a croud or buildings I suppose you will have to get CAA approval first
Working is for the birds
