Rotax gearboxes ?

Postby Low Level » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:40 am

Sorry for this question from a gross ignoramus.

I constantly see talk about a b-box or e-box for a rotax engine. Can someone clarify for me what gearboxes are available, and the difference between them ?

Just for interest sake.

Negative,

Only the E box is "E"lectric start.

C and E boxes is a lot stronger than the B box in terms of inertia and loading that they can take.
