Morph - Advice Please

Postby salem » Sun Apr 10, 2011 11:35 am

Hi Greg.
I would really appreciate your technical expertise on this one. Yesterday I started my 503 and she run beautifully for about an hour. I then decided to install a new On/Off switch and cable (old one was rusty). After this I couldn't start the engine again. Before I installed the switch I tested it and it was OK. I seem to remember something about the 503 starting when the switch is in the Off position. Can you give me some advice on this please? :?

Not morph, but I'll try.

I recon that you installed a new mag switch. If so, you installed it the wrong way round. To switch the engine off, you must contact the wire. In other words, to switch off the engine, you need to switch it to 'on'.

If it was not a mag switch, please give some more advice.
