Headset Rewire - How? Who?

Postby LenM » Mon Nov 01, 2010 1:58 pm

I've recently inherited a very nice pair of headsets from a friend of mine, as he no longer has use for them. I have noticed that although they still work perfectly, the wire in some places is somewhat damaged. Accordingly I wish to rewire the headset.
I can’t imagine the wiring could be too complex, but I’d prefer to do a proper job of it.
Furthermore I would also like the correct multi-strain wire to make it look as professional as possible.

If anyone can provide me with any assistance or even someone who would be able to assist, please let me know!

Thanks!

PS: Should me working on the headsets not comply with any form of regulation, please advise!

Hi Len,

You can try either Buzzcom or Air Magic (Zulu1 on this forum)
What intercom system do you have, as they could also provide the correct plug(s)

BobTheBuilder

Thanks for the info.
Intercom runs off MGL V10 VHF Tranceiver (built in).
