Aquilla - 582 - Fuel pump mounting.

Postby bobthebuilder » Thu Oct 14, 2010 10:02 pm

I have just received my nice shiny new engine mount from Solo Wings. Wow, dramatic improvement over the old one ....... BUT!!!!
There are no lugs welded on the tubing to mount the fuel pump anymore. (**)
Was I supposed to order a bracket for this. Is there a standard bracket for this?

Does anyone have any pics of their engines that show the fuel pump on an Aquilla 2?

Hi Byron , I use an Aluminium bracket mounted on rubbers as like the exhaust , which is bolted onto the side of the engine - Rubbers protect the pump valves , I can fax you a drawing of it sometime this week - Is your old mounting still available alex 0825688635

Hi Alex,

I managed to get the bracket with the rubber mounts that you described from Solo Wings. Thanks for the offer.

My old engine mount, with a set of spats, are still available if you want them.
Give me a call if you are interested.
