New AMO

How do one start a new AMO?Do one do course at rotax and write exams till it come out of your ears?I am very intrested in going back to work on planes.I was an appy on Dc 3,cessna'sand pipers at Rand in 1996.Now I started to fly trikes.Nobody can or want to work on 503's after Fred Blokland dismisal.Now I am also a victim of freds doings.Where can I get training?Ap's can also not work on the motors anymore!Please help me!
