Rotax 912 UL and 93 unleaded

Will it be very harmful for a Rotax 912UL engine to run on 93 unleaded petrol if 95 unleaded is not available???

Have you ever seen what avgas does to a 912? Book says min RON 90, so still fine I suppose. At least it will make da prop spin and you smile?? vhpy vhpy vhpy

No Problem, just don't do it to often! I am not sure how accurate the Octane in Africa is! I think 93 is in fact about 88 to 89 octane! Never flown a rattex on avgas!

Did my gyro training at Brakpan - FABB. The garage next to the field does not have 95, only 93. Because of the logistics, the flight school ran their gyro on 93. When I completed my training the school gyro had 1300 troublefree hrs on the 914.
