Does anyone know where to purchase decent cables and housing plus the little crimp ferrules used in trikes. Looking through all the trikes here at our airfield most of them need new cables but its such a schlep to get them they are left until several strands start uncurling. I have measured the thickness of some of the cable and see its around 1.5 to 1.6 mm diameter. Bicycle shops around here have thinner cables 1.2 mm and the end crimping ferrules are too flimsy.
Any comments?

Those guys will make anything to your specification. If you fly fixed wing, they also do a Vernier throttle, ala Cessna etc, with a centre button for rapid throttle advancement and then once released the throttle can be finely adjusted by turning it
