Time-ex or not ?

Postby Trytofly » Wed Apr 01, 2009 8:18 pm

I have a 1999 Windlass with a 503 of some 650 hrs vintage. It is at Solowings right now for an anual. Will CAA grant me an ATF or must I fork out R25K+ to overhaul the engine to enable me to fly 30-40hrs a year?
If the answer to my question is yes, then..... any offers for the "old lady" ?

If the AP is happy with the condition of the crank you can continue on to 750 hours.

I bought a BMW rt1100 some time ago and thaught of selling it ,but after some thaught i decided to keep it until my rotex needs replacing then i will remove the bike motor and fit it to the skyranger that is n better option than to traid it in. :)
