Buying a secondhand trike

Postby Morne » Fri Mar 06, 2009 10:26 am

Dont know if there is a thread like this already? please direct me to it if there is.

What to look out for when going to inspect the trike?
Take along a expert?

Any tips etc?

Im going to look at a Windlass trike in the near future? Any specifics to look out for , for that trike?

This will be the first trike that I buy and I hope to learn to fly on it all be it only a few hours .

Thanks

Take someone with you who know trikes. Where are you based?

Take someone that knows the complete "rietmarole" at the CAA. That person will definitely know what to tell you about buying trikes.

Yip, went through all that when I bought my Windlass (**) , but cause of good advise and having all that I need in order, no problem with registering the trike (^^) (!!)
