Sorry I didn't address your question about filters.
If you fit a filter between the tank and the high pressure pump, then the pressure that the filter can hold is not important because you are filtering the suction line = gravity pressure and pump volume. However, if you put a filter between the HP pump and the injectors, then it is a good idea to have a tin can type filter that will hold pump pressure plus a safety margin of at least 50%
I have nearly 100 hours on Cubby's and have done extensive work on the carb and fuel injected motors so if you have any more questions I will be glad to answer them if I can

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Yes i did fit the pressure line with the high pressure filter and have also fitted the second fuel pump with a pressure gauge to ensure i got pressure on the line at all times.
