RAASA is offering to post your licences back to you the day after receipt of the applications.

The rates that will be applying are:

Registered Mail:

DL size & Maxi R14.40
B5 (medium or A5) R16.50
B4 (large or A4) R17.55

Priority mail:

To PostNet office R 58.00
To S A Post Office R 75.00

Please add this amount to your application fee when you make payment. Please also specify on your application which form of return mail you require and how your payment is made up.

If you send in numerous applications (e.g. the schools), you will be only required to pay one postage fee.

We are now in the third week of operation of RAASA and we are still getting instructors and pilots using the old CAA forms. Please make sure that you are using the new forms which are available on www.raasa.co.za . We will be accepting the old forms for a short while longer but everybody has to start using the new forms as soon as possible.

Please make sure that you fill in the forms correctly and make sure that you are signing the logbooks with the correct wording. It is not possible to do skills tests and conversions to type "as per the ANRs". The ANRS went out a long time ago. The instructors need to start making an effort to get in line with the new legislation. Part 62 is being applied and if the requirements aren't met, the licence will not be issued. It will prevent frustrations on all sides.

Thanking you in advance for your compliance.

Regards
Rowena
