Hi, I am from Swakopmund and unfortunately had no luck finding an Instructor there. The one I know of is too busy with work so I finally ended up with an excellent instructor called Dirk Oelofse tel: +264 (81) 143 0464 in Rundu . Apart from the facilities the view and weather is almost always good for flying... unfortunately a long way from Swakopmund

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I'm looking for someone in luderitz area, and from there Rundu is a bit too far away.

Would you consider Windhoek?

I have been in windhoek in 2003 for the last time. It didn't look like a trike friendly place with all the hills etc. Didn't go much to the east though, so I could be wrong.

To compound the issue, windhoek is about 800km away, then upington is a better bet at 780km. Swakop is about 500km, which would be the closest. Jackpot would obviously be luderitz or keetmanshoop.
