Hello Russ,

Do you do a MPL from scratch and how long does it take if I would dedicate time to it. In other words can we do it in 2 weeks and what are the costs? Maybe its on your website but your website is down.

Thanks

Hm, I'm having no joy with the website either, and the SMS for the wx doesn't respond. ... Hope they haven't closed down or anything!

They did not close it down the index page is not correct.

Jimbo is this your school?

In Sa, an probably on this board you find a lot of good hosting companies it should not be a problem!

Regards

No- I'm neither a student nor a pilot, just thinking about it at this stage.

It's not far from where I live, so if I take the plunge it would be a good choice for me noviasa

Am I correct in my understanding that a PPL holder who wishes to do a type conversion onto a Cheetah has to have his training and conversion with a PPL rated instructor only, who must be a Grade 11?

I know of a PPL pilot who has done his Bushbaby rating with a Grade I MPL instructor. IN fact Rv4ker, didn't you do yours with Johan Fronemman at Saldanha before ferrying WYG back to JHB?

See my post in the Cheetah forum - I have just received confirmation via CAA that an appropriately rated MPL grade A or B instructor may do the PPL level type conversion.

PS to my post above

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the Cheetah forum is on Avcom, not here.
