Do it yourself

take the wheels off the trike, deflate the tyres, loosen the bolts that hold the two rims together, split the rim apart, take old tyre off, put new one on, align the valve with the red dot on the side of the tyre, reassemble, then inflate to 100kpa
If it's the type of rim you cannot split then take it in

Had a trailer with two hubs bolting together. (8 inches rims - ja wheel barrow tipe)

After putting it back together with the new tube, part of it got caught between the the hubs - whala had to buy new tube again - some hubs has got piece of rubber between the hub and tube seperating them - mine was gone (Africa).

Took it to garage. After they asembled the two hubs with the new tube i ask him what i did wrong - apparently u have to let in same air not to must - preventing it to be caught between the hubs.

So ja pay the money - worth it.

I had a flat tyre on the threshold of 23 at Fisantekraal once and Louis van Wyk repaired it for me there and then.
So in this case my AP did it so it must be legal! Wonder it it needs to be noted in the log?

A bike shop will do it for you if you are lazy and the aerie is in the hangar!
