Sorry about this late notice, but Heksie, alias Santjie White will be giving a talk / presentation on the do's and don'ts of Search and Rescue at Brits Flying Club on Saturday 7 February at 18h00. She insists that it is something that every pilot and pilot's relevative should attend at some stage.

We will have a bring and braai afterwards. Club has a stocked pub and braai packs for sale. Fires, pap & sous will be provided.

If you wish to sleep over in one of the furnished rooms, contact Nella at 083 581 4228 or Gerrit at the club on 012 255 5945. And if you want to fly in and sleep over, we will always arrange a hangar !

We had our club meeting last night.

Santjie White (and Elfie) her daughter spent 4 unselfish hours on te road to travel from Heidelberg to Brits and back again.

Her presentation on Search and Rescue is rivetting, to say the least. I can recommend her as a speaker at any of your club-meetings ! The valuable information she gave is a must for pilots and their families !

We were about 30 pilots and family, and as Santjie said: "If tonight's presentation can save only 1 life, then I have done my job tonight !"
