Semi retired concerning IR consulting. Got sick and tired of the conflict. But always willing to help a friend if I can but not for any pay.

In my book, semi retired means you have made enough money not to have to take anybody's shit anymore!
Simple.

Nice of you to offer Swiftprop, I am trying to find him better employment as we speak.

Hi Len
Your helping Morph much appreciated. Semi retired means stopping I.R. work before it or some militant unions killed me. Yes I have had a number of death threats from some of the unions. Just not worth it. Now work for a chemical company that pays peanuts but it enables me to build up my own other business and also represent Aviation & Safety magazine for this part of the world.
Working for someone else is not the answer in the long run as they will always pull your strings and not pay you what you are really worth unless you are black and work for the government in which case your are probably paid way way in excess of what you are worth!
Best wishes
Andre
