I still have to get quotes on the extent of the damages but it seems like my whole wing will have to be replaced. Cloth is badly damaged as well as all internal parts broken. I think I will be able to use my bar
The struts and wheels will have to be replaced and the hang-block. So far damages looks to be in the area of R35 000 for my toy alone.

Stupid me, no insurance. Downloaded insurance papers and left it on my desk before christgmas holidays and then never faxed it ##

Well with the economic crunch and being my own employer, it seems as if ZU-FLO will remain grounded for some time

At least I know one thing, I can fly microlights better than Mother Nature vhpy

This is devestating. Was in the Centurion Mall when the storm struck, the worst that I have experienced in a long time.

Sorry about the damage guys, hope you all are in the air soon.

Must admit, as a person loving ALL my toys (including my girlfriend) I would hate something like this to happen to me............it is almost the same as death in the family! Best to all of you's with repairs.

Well, my luck as been very bad so far for 2009. My new car just broke down, wife is sick and now my plane damaged. All my toys are broken. Think I will have to start playing chess.

Well Piet, if its a new car it comes with warranty?

The wife, well I have a friend who says everytime a new 911 comes on the market best is take a new wife as well. Unfortunately for him he is only able of changing his 911. But as a substitude for changing his wife he is changing his p.a.

Planes, lucky you a lot of bargains on the market!

So think positive (^^)

you guys were supposed to come to panorama airfield for breakfast...lets hope you can still make that happen sometime soon. :(
