REFERENCE ON HORNET TRIKE PLEASE

Postby BOOMARANG » Mon Jan 12, 2009 2:24 pm

I am looking at buying a trike and came across a Hornet. Anybody got any advice, tips, warnings, recommendations, good or bad experiences or any other information that will help me. It is in a good condition, 315 hours on rotax 503 ,dual control and has a current ATF. If you just start of and budget of R35000 any advice will help.

The Hornets were built in Springs - very similar to the Windlass - Cessna tyres , good lift , most i have flown you could talkeoff with a Centurion tank strapped to the back - a basic trike , good value for money - normally well looked after and lots of fun at an affordable price - Im an instructor and can assist with the conversion should you buy - call Alex 08256 88635

Jip , use to own and fly one. Good trike. Fred Blokland still have spares available. Fred is the Chief Flying instructor at Airborne in Springs.
