Cato Ridge Flyers

Postby pietmeyer » Mon Nov 17, 2008 9:16 am

I guys

I will be working in Cato Ridge area on Wednesday 19 November. Anybody flying in that area? I would love to stop by as it sure beats sitting in a hotel. Let me know, maybe we can get n beer and talk flying. Hotel does not have any good company.

Hi Piet

You can chat to Warren Hill, I haven't met him yet but plan to do so in January 2009, he recently invited me to visit them at Cato Ridge when on holiday there. Call him on 082 729 5756 he seem to be a real nice chap!

Regards.

Hi Piet

The airfield is not too busy during the week but there are always people out there as there is a flight school run from there. There are flex-wing and fixed-wing microlights for Hire-&-Fly if you are interested and usually an instructor around to give you the low-down on the area. If you want more information then PM me and I can assist.

By the way, there is no more flying out of Cato Ridge Airfield; we now fly out of Light Flight. If you need directions, again PM me.
