Hi guys.
I have just renewed my ATF with the registration of my trike, and as I marked the sections Owner training and Private use. What exactly does this allow me to do with me trike now? I am still to finish my solo hours, and have been using the schools trike's thus far.
Thanks

I THINK this allows you to be trained on it and to use it privately.
Of course, if you don't have an instructors rating and you haven't marked the box for comercial use, you can't use it for money making purposes.
I THINK this is right, but don't hold me to it!

100%.
You can fly it while getting trained (dual & solo) and then for pvt use once qualified... (I think I also covers further training once qualified)

Owner trainer means that you can legally train on it. Not legal to fly it as a student, if not registered that way.
Private self explanatory.
Owner trainer - if less than 3 months, School must submit notification to caa. If training for longer than 3 months, must go into the School man of Proc, and be registered as a training trike, with all the relevant maintenance.
Must notify CAA, when finished traing.
Talk to Fanie Keyser at CAA. Hes dealing with all the M/L schools now.
Talk to your school - they should know the rules.
