Yes, I agree with IceAge. If it was an engine out he would not have been able to jump in the air like that after the first touch down. He was playing around. And looked for trouble I think. Wonder how much damage the cow made to the wing? And I would not be surpriced if the cow stood up after a few seconds either. The milk might be sour fo a few days.

The guy who sent it to me listed it as an engine out. I don't know much about flying so I believed him

I think she was trying to get over the cow. Speed was very high during first touch down and I like the way she looked back at the cow. Me I would have been watching for the pole that wizzed by... From what I can remember from my brief encounters with the Tiger, viz over the nose was nil. I had to lean out the side to see and if pax had arms out (ala ford escourt wiff marlborrrooww's rolled up in them) you could see nothing....
Must have been glancing blow else wing would have detached and they would have done a doughnut....

At the end of the movie you can still see the shadow of the prop turning

To topple a 350kg cow will take at least 200kg, if not more ? Even a 50kg "bump" would have yawed the plane, yet they land true and straight ? It was acted with a stuffed (teddy bear like) cow, ... if you asked me ..

Listen carefully - there is actually sound - although very faint, you can hear the motor, the conversation from another plane rolling 23, and between the pilot and pax.
The engine spluttered and died - thats when the nose goes down. On the ground it restarted for a moment - thats actually at the moment he got lift again, pilot goes ha, ha, ha - and "missed" the cow. I actually think that they are very fortunate for it to restart at that moment, otherwise they would have hit that cow full blown. It then dies again on them - therefore the second touch down.
Personnally, looking at their reactions, I think the pilot didn't even see the cow.
Conversation:
"Ahh well, put that down in one piece."
"Yeah not the right place."
"What's that, fuel ?"
"I don't know."
"Ha ha ha "

Think it was windmilling, cause you can hear the engine goes dead the second time.
