Hi Guys

Whats the general feeling about posting Jokes pics etc, wrt adult content, as per some jokes posted? Where should we draw the line with offensive?

Please feel free to comment on last joke posted.

I Feel that this is a public flying forum, there are a couple of members that are under aged and also members that get offended by it. I say we stick to good clean flying fun.

I see nothing wrong with posting the odd joke, and hence why I started the joke thread. We just need to be mindful of the other members and not to post anything too vulgar. I see nothing wrong with the jokes you posted Larry

p.s. any vulgar jokes can be emailed to me however

Yes, our youngest member is 12. A lot of kids with and browse with their dad, sometimes you want to show your softness something so we need to keep it clean.

No full frontal nudity,
no direct profanity, I'm OK with F@#^% etc,
No religion
No politics

I agree, there are some other blogs where you can post it should you feel the urge to do so

This is an open forum and people have choices whether they want to read or not i say go for it bring the jokes on life is all about choices thats the great thing about it .

As I am one of the youngest members, here's what I think.
Some of the jokes are fine. I have heard some pretty vulgar ones from my friends! What else do teens joke about!
But I agree with Morph, no full frontal nudity, No religion (Unless it is something like godbless him and his family, if something has happpened).
That Joke Larry posted is not that bad. But if there was graphic descriptions, thats where I draw the line.
Just lets try and not get to carried away, do whatever you like on Avcom, but here, just try and keep the above out of it!
However, lets not start acting like monks! Oh, Sorry, that was religion!

Hey we da rainbow nation, probably the best in the world at pulling the pi%# out of each other with no harm done.
Morals vary, and I feel the moderators do a great job.
Go look at an Avcom post a while back about an offensive avatar, that rocketed to mega pages in one day, so its a subject (Religion, nudity sex etc) that inspires passion.
In the mean time: here's religion & sex.

I belong to a couple of forums, one of which we decided to go the route of a "Boyzone" which is password protected. If you wish to view, read or post anything not suitable for a public forum you request the password from the moderators. They only need to vet age.

I agree that sometimes the jokes might be a bit on the wild side but generally as long as it isnt full frontal nudity or such like maybe we should just take it as a givin that the jokes are not for the sensitive?
