Done and dusted

I flew to my first fly-in this weekend. What an experience. On the way there, flew through some rough weather
( very strong wind and rain ) Got there just before sunset and had a few cold refreshments. You see the time it took to fly there on Friday afternoon was just enough to get me my MPL
Had some awesome flights Sat and Sun mornings and absolutely greased ALL my landings, wow what a feeling to get in my trike when I want to (normally before anyone else is awake) and go for a fly. There was two trikes, a RV6, a Renegade Bi-Plane, a Dragonfly and heaps of Hangliders and Paragliders. It was really a glider weekend but my instructor is also a Hanglider instructor and I needed to do a X-Country.
The flight back today
We took off at noon and I experienced as much turbulence as I ever want to experience. My instructor did this on purpose so I would know what to expect if I ever got caught in it. Point taken. I did not enjoy it, but I did not freak out completely. It was 1.2 hrs of rock an roll. Got back to his airfield and there was bout 10 people standing around watching us come in. What did I do
I bounced it bad, but I was so relieved to be on Terra Firma that it did not bother me to much.
Now Bluey is safe in his own hangar and if all goes well, I will fly him around here tomorow
