Carel

Agreed on the badge, but John-Bad Nav's design so lets give credit to our Squadron's founding member vhpy Think John was gonna try and find out from a neighbour to have a few badges made for our other "Brother's-of-the-windsock"

Gonna be a great game, looking forward to it

No, its not only a game and we probably will go fishing afterwards

"Rugby combines the tactics, power, and speed of American football with the flow, expansiveness, collective effort, and individual ball talent of association football. To play at the highest level you have to combine the strength required in the one with the fitness required in the other. When the game is played well, with pace and skill, the spectacle is both crunchingly gladatorial and pleasing to the eye. If the game is a close contest, even better, for then art and theatre combine"

Uncle Potato Stout, if you are heading down to this fair land then you had better get a very quick appreciation for the sport of Rugby. This is not football, played by a bunch of hooligans, but a gentleman's game, played by educated and upstanding individuals. The most difficult decision you will have to make is which team to support and, oh yes, you will have to leave your allegiance to the crown and country behind; this will be your new home and it is here that at last you will find out about true friendship built upon the grounding of flying (first and foremost!!), braai (not the barbeque you will be used to), sunny skies (well a lot more than you are used to), sweet amber nectar (what ever you choice may be - Klippies I hear?), flying (yes again, it is a brotherhood here) and rugby!
In order to make your selection of team a bit easier I have taken away the stressful task of choice and have elected that you may, upon consideration of the other fans on this forum, support the Sharks. Think of it, there are teams such at Lions, Blue Bulls (who knows where they got that name from poor lost souls), Cheetahs etc, but nothing quite puts the fear of the Almighty into one than the thought of having to face not 1 but 15 sharks in a tank.

We are black, we are white, we are dynamite!!
