Gents - Please join me in wishing our good mate Coyote (Greg) a speedy recovery !!! My mate thad a little accident and tore knee ligaments whilst giving 'De Wildt" horns on his MX BIke on Sunday and I fear may be out of both Flying and Riding for a little while.. Looks like hes going to be spending some time on the site now!!!! Well either that or potting up a storm

Hey Coyote, For what its worth, repairing ligaments is not much of a problem anymore they do it quite successfully nowadays. But ya, it takes time. Speedy recovery mate.

If it is the Anterior Cruciate ligament that needs reconstruction and repair then the recovery time takes a while. it involves lots of rehab and bio kinetics to het it back to full strength.

They will be reattaching my anterior cruciate ligament and the lateral collateral ligament (no idea how to spell).

He should stick to flying, its far safer!!

I wish Gregg a speedy recovery for his own sake and mine! (I have a vested interest in him being ambulate )

Hey Guys

Thanks for the well wishes - outcome was fantastic (not as good as not having an accident !!!) - partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (not full tear - so no reconstruction) and repair of lateral ligament. I will be up and about in no time. Not able to ride for 3 months so I will just have to fly fly fly. Kevin Hopper is busy putting my aerie back together so I should be airborne soon.

Yes yes - my aerie now has a training wheel but it is looking stunning and I cannot wait to get airborne.
