It has come to my attention that a number of a/c owners have done the whole works to drive to CAA for the re validation of the ATF, and apon inspection it has been found that the "AP" is not current. Yes and then the paper work cannot be completed.
So this message goes both ways for a/c owners as well as "AP" s to ensure that their paper work is in order.
Make sure before you sign an a/c off theat "YOUR" paper work is also in order.

One of the many helping hands at CAA asked me to post this. (^^)

How do you know if your "AP "is current ????
Ask him , he has a licence booklet , dark blue same size as the MPL licence and the ratings , epiry dates etc all all there - make sure he is MISASA/ aero club / any of the member affliiates to Aeroclub to ensure that you get "value " for your money .
I have had an issue last week where a wing cover was worked on by an " ex AP "and now the customer has an issue ??? whos going to sign it off ???
Same problem with the fitment of a brand new 582 to an Aquilla - someone else has to sign the paper !!!
Check and check again ask to see the documents , if in doubt phone Braam , Mike or Danny and if need Andre at CAA who will confirm or reject , I have the AP Data Base om my computer , but its in the office or at home , so if need phone me and when available I can check Leprachaun 0825688635
