I have a pair of dog tags i made myself with all my paticulars.:? I also kiss my Wife and Daughter goodbye. The gut feel thing is also a big factor on my side - i gotta feel those butterflies in the tummy before i take off when i am lined up and ready to go. Also talk to myself with the words " PUSH PULL THEN FLY ! ! "

supersticions

Postby Bruce Mac » Fri Sep 30, 2005 7:00 am

I always used to cross my seat-belts after flying when securing and parking the aircraft. Nige, one of my instructors asked me WTF am I doing?! Said that was a seriously bad thing to do! Must admit, not very supersticious but have never done it again!

Strange that Johan feels about journalists like that these days :?
Don't have any superstitions, but if I'm not completely happy with actual (not imaginary) conditions, I don't fly.

No superstitions as such,

I DO get the butterflies during each pre-flight check.

I tend to fly with a grey scarf round my neck even if it's not really cold - just a habit I suppose, and I always buckle up the seat belts when I pack the trike away. It's a choice between two pairs of shoes/boots that I prefer to use for flying, other than that, a full tank and good buddies to fly with.

Funny, when I asked Johan why he wouldn't elaborate at all. I'm sure it's nothing personal C205
