I have a new a/c (50hrs) which has a crack in the carbon rod connecting the controls to the elevators. The French manufacturers have said I need use Redux Epoxy to glue the metal fittings into the carbon rod as well as rivet them.

Where can I purchase a small quantity of this Epoxy (about 10-20ml max needed) in South Africa? The importers are not responding or helping at all. ##

Can anyone suggest a supplier or possibly a user where I can make a fast purchase?

Regards
Rob

3M have a similar product. Will see if I can get hold of the name. Glue metal to fibre glass and is flexi-able.

Hi Grobert
Find out exactly which epoxy they want you to use. Redux make quite a few different types. A lot of them also have to be baked to get them to cure.

AMT is the place.
We source our epoxies for the kits there.
