To Charley Wiskey, "Oom Ben" , Echard(Goosstep) and Eddie(Taxi), thanks for making it happen - it truly opened my eyes and tought me not to be scared of distance, bumps or a "LITTLE" WIND  as soon as i have time i will post some pics as well! as far as next year goes - If the "Big Oke Upstairs" spares me for next year, I'm in!!!!!!

Brings back great memories.
Started my flying up there and did about 100 hours in the area.
Only those that have been up north can truly appreciate the beauty!!!!
More pics?

See Windlass 503`s in photos. Maybe help to put a stop to the myth that 503`s are patch machines.

Kalahari & Namib Desert are of the most beautifull places on earth, and even better when flying low.

Carel, i can not agree more! I have new respect for those little machine's - two of them (Eddie and Echart) flew with the whole way without any problems! a bit slower than the cobra's but nonetheless they still enjoyed every minute of it. AET - still has the original windlass wing and AXF has a Aquilla1 wing. A friend of mine from kathu (Frans Kruger) flew his windlass 503 from Kathu to the Okuvango delta in botswana and back without any problems!! Again - awsome little machines with no hassles @ all! i regret the day i sold my windlass, should have kept her as a second trike!
