Maybe the technical specialists can explain the idea of the friend & foe folder in the user control panel.

Is there a bit more to it than just seeing from whom you received a PM?? and a quick link to add them to a message??

If there is a "Special" friend you do not want to recieve pm's from then you put him in the Foe folder

Dont take what i say as the truth - taking a wild guess but that is what i would use it for.

Basically you will not see the posts of foes, and the friends ones will be highlighted. Also friends are listed in the UCP so that you can easily access their posts.

Unfortunately, you cannot add a mod to your foes list

You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.

Now why would you want to do that. The mods are all lekker okes.

I am sure the mods could help with the FOE list in the right situation like an oops deletion of a user
