Hi Agent,
MT-03 comes with 2x helmets as standard. Their helmet has a larger visor which you can order in clear or tinted option.
What I like about the Mt-03 helmet is that the visor covers your entire face, offering more wind protection and as the mike fits in under the visor, probably less prone to ambient and wind noise.
But that's just my personal preference.

Helmets look good and depending on the price I see a good market.
As a trike flyer, would prefer a full face visor, but would go for one if the price is right.

Good to see more innovation from the locals Agent.
My only critisism in general of helmets of this design (and I have one of those GA1 flight helmets from Composite Technologies) when flying a trike is that you tend to get air flowing in under the bottom of the visor stright into your eyes which is really uncomfortable and annoying. You might look cool

but flying your aircraft with watery eyes the whole time is not fun

. I did one circuit with my new helmet and then switched back to goggles. Eventually went full face visor and haven't looked back.
Of course you might not get this problem if you have a pod and windscreen fitted to your trike.
Have you thought about producing the helmet with double visors - you won't see much out of that helmet on an early winter morning!
Does it come in different sizes?

Yes it does come in different sizes and I have not yet tested it in the open cockpit but will do so soon.
Price R4850.00 direct from the guy who makes them.
And YES it will look good with a custom spray job.
Will advise once flown with it.

wow steep price.

A supurb international bike helmet is cheaper than that. Why so 'spensive?

Support Morph.
Just bought a well known branded flying flip visor helmet for about half the price from over seas.

Hi Agent
I think you wrongfully add an extra zero to the price. Don't you thinks R 485.00 seems better. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for the visit yesterday. Hendrik Loots aka Skin

Sorry guys but I did not make a mistake, and the reason is the Kevlar and Carbon used in the making.
Two componets imported, Visor and top cover.
Will try and get the impact test results.
If you have a $2 head then wear a $2 helmet.

Hi Agent,
Good looking Helmet
If it works well on a trike (open cockpit) then you have a winner.
I somehow think that you will need a full face visor to accomodate the mic. I have even had to put a bib on my current helmet to combat the wind interference (Lynx Helmet)

Eish - your face is going to get very cold in winter, lips might even freeze together

Hi Agent,
R 4 850 is a lot IMHO.
ZULU1 charges R 1 250 with clear visor and bib and R 1 500 for a tinted visor.
Lynx helmets imported against the GBP work out at R 1 800 landed including VAT and freight.
By the way, I have 4 for sale (all XL) on behalf of a friend.
Regards
John
