These okes realy need a medal, Oddball woke me up at 6:45 to deliver his snakes. Just shows you how dedicated they are flying to Rand irrespective of the weather. I was supposed to take the snakes to Rand by road. I think things got out of hand in the pub as the snakes are still sitting on my dining room table. WELL DONE GUYS!

Thanks for the compliments guys- it was the Snakes on the way to Rand. I have to hand it to the other guys in the team for making us look so good all the time; I just look straight and figure out what to do but they make us look like a formation. The guys who flew in to Rand with me were Steve Yap, Elio Ferri and David Levy. Werner Scheepers (whose plane is undergoing a repair job at the moment) helped us out in a ground role.

It's also great to see that the controllers are trusting us a lot more nowdays and letting us position to land mostly at our own discretion, realising that we can place ourselves well and land quickly and safely with minimal interferance to other traffic (not that there was any at Rand on Sunday morning!).

We're being invited to a lot of shows now so hopefully we'll get to see some of you guys there as well. Please come and say hi if you are around- check out our new flight suits!

PS I did get to fetch my snakes from Boer- even though it was only on Monday- in spite of there being now show I still had a good time at Rand! Thanks Jaques!

Oddball,
Sorry about the "distraction" when you came to collect the snakes. We are on finals with our venture so it is important to stay in contact with each other now. How was supper at your "sister"? Can she cook?
