Help Please - Garmin 96 C -again

Could anyone with this 96C or with similar experience, check what settings I should use, particularly the following;
Set up --- System -------egnos discabled/ enabled( which one)
Set up ---Interface -----serial data format ---Garmin, Garmin DGPS, aviation in (which one?)
Set up ---Location ------ Position Format --Select from several, incl South African Format (?)
Set up ---Location -----Map Datum ----Various (which one?)
Set up ---Location ---Heading ---Various (which one?)
Set up ---Map -----General, maps, tracks, controlled airspace e.t.c (which one)
Tried, but won't let me copy from a spreadsheet. Will gladly e.mail Hope it makes sense.
Somewhere, something might have been touched?
