Got my atf yesterday on a 503 with 718 HRS on it
Motor was inspected on 600 hrs but with no crank change.

Will you please provide more info. How invasive was the inspection, what was the cost, who did it(qualification only).

Yes the motor was opened but only the heads where taken off

The crank case was not split. so yes in general very good news for all.

OK..... I on Wednesday afternoon I faxed Mike Cathro asking about the situation regarding the 300 hour thing. I have paid and applied for my authority fly prior to my expirey date (13th March 08) As you all know my Challenger has 487 hours and has not had a 300 hour overhaul. HE HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY FAX!!!!!! He did say a month ago that I should push my plane into the hangar and wait and not to be too hasty in wasting money. Well gents we are into the middle of April and I have had absolutely ZERO response! ( Other than the day after I put my application in for authority to fly).I do not have an authority to fly, neither do I have have anything to say that I HAVE to pull my motor out ....that is working great.... and over haul the damn thing. This today Friday 11th April 2008 at 15h54 to be exact! Tomorrow I fly illegal!
