I have, in chatting to alot of trike pilots come across many different opinions and ideas on what the essentials are and what to carry in ones pannier bags.
Some guys have a standard "tool kit" and on fly aways they pull out the mc coy's.
What do you carry as your essential tools / must haves / dont fly with out goodies

I carry the following
spare plugs, plug spanner and feeler gauge
10,11,12,13 mm spanners, two each
A multitool, like a leatherman
a medical aid kit including a silver space blanket.
2 liters of water
fuel syphon pipe.
a small selection of spare nyloc nuts, bolts and split pins
cable ties
small roll duct tape.
The next time you buy a chamois cloth (the soft cloth used for cleaning cars) they usually come in a plastic tube. This is big enough for all the tools etc.

And I sit here and wonder why you want to take that along. I must admit, that as of today, I still did not go and get me an extra one.

Sexist
Hairdryer. - Simple start your plane, stand in the wind blast, viola, dry hair
Curlers - Sorry, too painful to wear under the helmet. You'll have to live with "Hair by Helmut"
Make up bag - Your flight suit's got lots of pockets for the lip stiffie and stuff
Manicure set - Start the aircraft, now very carefully bring your nails closer to the spinning prop
Pillow - Use the trike seat
40KG overnight bag of clothing - not needed, One panty/underpants, that can be turned inside out, a tooth brush and some toothpaste.
