I own a Cheetah 582 and am trying to order something from Alexi at Aerotrike. I have tried to call them on 011-8172298 for two weeks but they don't answer their phones or fax any more! From Monday a cellular
answering service answers saying that this voice malibox can now not accept any more messages. I e-mailed them but no reply - does anybody have a cell number for Alexi? Mybe they moved or have faulty phones - i hope they did not close down!
I still spoke to them last month when they sent me new tyres.
Kind regards
Larry

Yeah, the power of the forum is amazing...
When I was stranded in Bethlehem in December, within 1 hour of posting a 'help' message, I was fixed up with everything I needed ... A bath, meal, luxurious accomodation(which I declined in favour of sleeping under my wing for security reasons)....
Now, all we have to do is figure out how to use this power....
Regards.

RE: What happened to Rainbow Aircraft
To all Aerotrike and Cheetah owners, and anyone who has been trying to reach us for the past couple of weeks.
Please accept our apologies for the difficulties you've been having trying to get hold of us.
We've had to telephone, fax or email service for the past two weeks courtesy of cable thieves and Telkom's inept management and staff.
The comms have been restored yesterday afternoon. Hopefully we will not have to go through this again any time soon.
Should you have any trouble reaching us on our land lines in the future please try our premicell line on 082 829 0737. If it just rings it means the line is occupied, as it is not a normal cellphone, but rather a cell line going through our switchboard. Unfortunately we can't retrieve voicemail or sms' on this line, so please do not leave messages on it.
You can also send us emails on our usual addresses (sales@aerotrike.co.za and axl@aerotrike.co.za), as I have figured out a way of getting my mail remotely, when our ADSL line is down.
Once again our sincere apologies go out to everyone who was trying to reach us and couldn't.
Fly safely and have a Happy Easter.
Alexei.

They wont accept the offer or proposal of accepting POWER from us -
Their reasons - cannot accept power from a group of people that are capable and able to service their own equipment! Regretfully ALL technical expertise must be outsourced to France but most of all we as induvidual sources are not BEE compliant and dont come with that excuse that you are all sole proprietors!
Furthermore, thems wont do business with a bunch of aviators that wont comply to Parts 1 through 2000 and especially 24...
SAVE IT FOR YOURSELVES the say!
An awesome and safe Easter weekend for all!
