Vliegvark running around

this is a thread just to see what you guys think of my photos and to let the guy that think the BMW 1200 engine is a powerplant know how it's doing......logging hours as I go and no problems yet test flew my second injector hardware this weekend all 100% and no welding or anything just bolt on will send some photos but my camera met mother earth so the camera techies are making her better but here is some wing photos

Great pics. Now tell us where we can get the BMW enjin. I suspect you can make a good business supplying, installing and maintaining these - a lot of 582 guys are looking for alternatives.

I spoke to an agent at Bavaria Motorcycles last week. According to him the main block/crank of the BMW's are Rotax, with the remainder of the engine being BMW parts. Is this true? Anyone know?

The BMW CS 650 is a Rotax motor.

Not the boxer engines, only the single cylinder 650cc engines are based on Rotax.

Watch this space gentlemen, these two guys probably knows more about BM engines for light aeries than anyone else in SA. They built and tested and developed their engines in their own time and with their own money. Their BB kit should be completed soon.......and wil be powered by a: BMW.
