SAWS - ivory tower

Dear forum reader.
Herwith a copy of the mail I sent to the SAWS, in which I stated I would copy such to the Aviation Community.....
<<yesterday, Sunday morning, I attempted to plan the days gliding activities. Your aero-sport pages were not updated, and as a result we COULD NOT PLAN ANY FLIGHTS FOR THE DAY!!
I telephoned, and had to be subjected to misinformed, useless communication, which you will attempt to charge me for.
This communication is to inform you that I will contest the invoice which your department will attempt to collect from me, and to ask on what authority your department considers itself an 'ivory tower'.......
...a very, very disgruntled an dissallusioned user.
I shall be copying this communication to the aviation fraternity, as well as to the relevant Government Department.
the manner is which this fee has been raised, without the option of a national telephone number which can be called in times of problems with the web page, is unacceptable.
It is a legal requirement that a met fore-cast be obtained before cross country flights can be conducted. A general forecast is not sufficient for micro aviation.......
